What happened with armor sets is totally and undisputedly unfair. Supposedly its an "improvement" on armor stats. Practically is a huge fail due to mistreatment of existing armors (and players).
Imagine buying a house for 100k. Then after a week, the seller comes to you and says "Last week you bought this house for 100k but we deemed its no longer valid to live in it. There will be no refund, just gather your things and leave. Plus you have to give me another 50k to stay on an another 100k house i just build, or else in a week you will be homeless.(or month, doesn't really matter) There will be no discussion about it."
1) Zero warning. No, admin, posting some vague changelog in forum 30 minutes before this huge update isn't a warning.
2) Zero compensation. Again, adding a couple more mobs and adding another 10% of drop chance while ALL the server is after these materials isn't a compensation. Its just a small fix that needed to be done anyway.
3) Zero respect for all those players who even got premium accounts to farm those absurd number of materials. Now you have to do it all over again.
A new player joining today will have to farm eg. 800+ Mithril Alloys to get their Heavy Avadon and then Heavy BW. Old players who ALREADY gathered all 800 for their old armors after long painful hours, now need another 300 to get the new ones. That goes for every single material, for all armor sets. That's what you get for wasting your time on a failed armor system. The same thing a new player pays 100% of the price, we have to pay 150% of it, 100% we already paid and another 50% to make it valid. Because of your fault, not ours. Just because we joined the server the day it opened. That's our reward.
The server is dying fast and all you say is "Its an improvement, we did it because its better for you". But it isn't, and everybody knows that, you aren't fooling anyone. Maybe its better for new players who wont have to gather the materials for their new armors twice. For sure it's better for premium players and bot users that don't really care about mortal stuff. If you wanted to make it better for ALL the players, including the existing ones, the least you would do for causing that much confusion, and i repeat, THE LEAST, is to give them free stones so they can change their armors to the new ones. Or simply make the exchanges stone-free. Its not our fault you had a bad armor system. Its not our fault you decided to change it. It's not our fault you decided to do that without any warning, while we threw away tons of key materials, recipes and mats we didn't need according to the old system. But we still have to pay for it.
For a closure, i would like to add that its more a matter of respect than material gathering. The way you treated the players is unforgivable. The way you keep saying "i only see pluses in this system" while everyone ACTUALLY playing is frustrated with what you did, is the real problem. The fact that "Prices haven't change" as you keep repeating, is not a part of the solution. Its part of the problem. There is no guarantee this won't happen again, maybe after a while you decide to change it again because, reasons. Judging by the present situation, its only a matter of time until you change something again, without any warning or compensation.
Its so sad that a project with such high prospects ended up a failed experiment. I really had hopes for it.
Peace to you all,
Omen out.
